Our Favorite Audience
Response System Companies In
The USA |
|
Here's a list of our favorite Audience Response System Companies that
serve primarily the USA. They are in no particular order.
The list was last updated October 10,
2005. Please note that this site focuses on mainstream RF based
wireless interactive products and vendors. |
|
|
Fleetwood Electronics |
|
Simply put, Fleetwood is
king in the North American in the RF world. As manufacturers of
standard Reply, Reply DX, Reply EZ, Reply WW,
and Reply IQ, everything they do effects
the entire industry. They own roughly 90% of the wireless keypad market in North
America and are capturing significant shares internationally. They sell only to
authorized dealers around the world and seem to do a good job of listening to not only
dealers, but to end-users as well.
There is no doubt that Fleetwood is
committed to quality, because it is built into each and every product
they sell. (Fleetwood's Website)

Audience
Response Rentals |
|
Audience Response Rentals is a partner of ours in the
Audience Response Business Network. The website is far more
than unique, it's extremely innovative. High quality
audience response system rental companies from around the world are invited to
become site network members.
They then provide their rental prices for equipment and technicians.
Now, an end user comes along and creates an account on the site.
Once they do, they can get free rental quotes (up to five
on any single rental) immediately online! This is unheard of until
now in our business. All users have always had to call for
pricing, which is a real hassle. And, since all of this site's
quotes are formatted identically, it is unbelievably easy to compare and
decide. Plus, the system estimates shipping and technician travel
cost.
When a user chooses a vendor, he only has to click a
link at the bottom of the quote to place his order. It doesn't get
any more convenient than this, folks. The best part is that
when an order is placed, the people at Audience Response Rentals become
the Project Managers. And the entire rental is managed online
where the user, the manager, and the vendor all have access 24x7.
We think that every rental company should offer this
type service. Since smaller companies can not cover the cost of
development, we think they'd be well served by joining the existing
system. But, only those with a reputation for quality service can
get in. (Audience

ComTec
(Communications Technology International) |
|
ComTec is known through the industry for
its standalone audience response software;
Unity XP, Synthesis XP,
and Elect XP
products. These applications are packaged together as a suite,
and called
ComTec XP. The company has been writing software since 1988 and
has a proven track record especially amongst industry professionals and
is considered by many to be the best
audience response system available.
We estimate that no fewer than 15 rental service
providers in the USA, and about 7 outside of the USA use ComTec XP Pro
in their everyday service business. The reason is clear. Their
software is extremely stable while providing a professional look and
feel.
ComTec XP is built for the
Fleetwood standard Reply
system, along with Reply IQ,
and Reply Worldwide. If you plan
on purchasing an audience response system, student response system,
or classroom response system this is one company that should make
your final vendor list. (ComTec

Option Technologies (OTI) |
| OTI today is
probably the largest Audience Response Company in the US, and the
result of a merger between the original Option Technologies and Stage
America, one of the industry's largest rental service providers.
As a single entity, they now rent and sell
Standard Reply (as both OptionFinder
and Reply brands) as well as Reply DL/DX and IQ. They also develop, sell
and rent OptionFinder software and MeetingNet software which supports
multi-site conferencing and was originally a Stage America product.
Over the years
both OTI and Stage America were each very successful in their own
right. But as a single force they have the size, expertise,
product line-up and proven track record of providing quality services
around the globe. (OTI Website)

CP Wireless |
| If you are looking for used
Fleetwood systems go no farther than CP Wireless. We are constantly amazed at how
much gear these people move. They have an excellent reputation with used equipment
(you can't trust just anyone you know) and will package it with either
Brainiac, Unity, or Synthesis software.
Plus they offer full service
meeting rentals so you can try the equipment and software before you buy. (CP Wireless Website)

Audience Response Solutions |
| While straight forward Audience Response
sessions make up a big part of their business, these folks really
shine when you need to put together an entire show that delivers your
message. Beautifully
done graphics, videos, presentations, and even stage, sound, and
lighting combine to give you a seamless experience that packs a
punch.
Like many of our other favorites, they use the Reply keypad and
ComTec software, but they make this stuff jump through hoops like no
other. They'll even provide an on-screen, interactive animated
character (Big Al is our favorite) to pump up your audience! It's a
great show, and your audience is sure to connect. (Audience Response Solutions

Extreme
Meetings! |
|
Extreme Meetings is a well organized,
high quality service provider that is tightly focused on increasing ROI
through substantially improved retention of the information presented
throughout a client meeting.
Their services include standard audience polling, of course. But these
folks prove their expertise when you give them the opportunity to help
design and integrate questions that will specifically support your
meeting goals.
There are a number of approaches to doing just that. One of the more
popular methods is through business game shows, and Extreme Meetings is
great at it. They've got complete modules that have been time tested,
that are lots of fun, and that have received rave client reviews.
This is a solid all around player with lots to offer any meeting. Be
sure to check out their online demo!

Padgett Communications (PCI) |
Padgett Communications has its roots in
the AV world, and is considered a rental industry veteran. Over the
years PCI has built a very loyal customer base, which is due in large
part, to their consistent delivery of quality services.
Today, they have focused on
large meetings (over 1000 people). And, they have one of the largest
Reply keypad rental fleets, in the country.
This, along with highly reliable
software, has allowed them to establish an excellent reputation in the
very competitive world of interactive game shows and medical education.

Vistacom |
|
Vistacom with offices in Philadelphia and
in Germany is consistently rated "Excellent" by some of the most
demanding customers in the industry. . . Pharmaceuticals. So,
what's their secret? An extremely experienced technical crew
that treats customers with velvet gloves under a program called VistaCare.
VistaCare spans the entire life cycle of the rental
project from quote to final reports, offering First Class service
regardless of meeting size or budget. As a result, Vistacom is
probably the fastest growing audience response service providers that we
know.
Like many of our other favorites, Vistacom uses the
combination of ComTec XP software and Fleetwood Reply hardware
for core applications and enhances this offering with a number of game
show specialty applications. (Vistacom

Audience
Response Systems
(ARS) |
| What can you say about a company
that has the same name as an entire industry... pretty smart. The name has served
them well, and in turn, they have helped promote quality throughout the
industry. They've been very strong in the rental market for many years which
is largely due their multi-site and game show capabilities. They, like OTI, private
label the Reply keypad. Today they continue to enjoy
a solid position in the market. They are well known fro having
developed one of the the first PowerPoint plugins, a product called PowerPoll.
They also market wInquiry,
a full featured stand-alone offering. (ARS Website) |

Meridia |
| Like many of our favorites,
Meridia has been around since the industry's earliest days. Today, Meridia's focus
is on a powerful combination of Fleetwood's DL/DX pad and their own RSVP Net software.
As a result of their hard work, Meridia has secured a solid position
in the Distance Learning market. Their substantial investment in hardware (one of
the largest DL rental fleets) and software continues to earn them a good reputation
amongst their customers. (Meridia
